Mtts- crushing the deepstacks as usual, also playing the 50r on boss which is uber soft, but getting 2 outered for top 3 stacks with 16 left.. not good when 1st pays 9k and 80% of rest of the players are terrible.

Been grinding some cash too, tonight was quality:
I was playing 2/4 euros NLHE (and watching Terry Pratchett’s colour of magic), when I noticed a total fish (italian!) who i had a bunch of notes on making large spewy idiotic bets on my table. He was betting 2x pot with air etc and basically a target for anyone with a set of balls to call him.. he was in pots with 64o calling down to river on 4QJxx for like 200-400 euro. SPEWTARD!

uneventful month overall.. came 3rd in the 15K Euros guaranteed 25euro rebuy on Celeb the other night for ~2k, , then 2nd in the 40DS for 750ish and 5th in the 3500 as well as for a few hundred. Also managed 12/1250 on fulltilt for a $250 minicash (yawn, always final 20, never 1st in those bigfield mtts on ftp Zzzz). .didn’t play more than 4-5 donkaments a night, so it’s all good. thank god for rakeback for an extra wad of free cash!

UK Gambling Forums, (the poker forum I hang out on) is running a little exclusive league where the overall winner gets to play a €250 heads-up match with Dave “Devilfish” Ulliot.

So I’ve been playing a lot of cash on boss media over the last few days, from €1/€2 to €5/10. I also raked like €2400 in 3 days which is good for getting me into an EPT San Remo Qualifier (Bad beat: there’s a real +EV 300quid buy-in deepstack here in southend on saturday, same day as the EPT qualifier, so I may have to get someone to play the qualifier for me.. meh..)

I won the 40DS on boss again.. that’s 2 nights out of 3.
I would have tried to win it yesterday, but this hand cropped up and I just couldn’t find the fold button…

Cash was pretty sick yesterday.. I lost >1k sterling to the same lagtard..
1 of the hands (Sterling.. Phand screws the currency) : I meant to 4x his 3bet, but i was on a turbo table and multitabling so only managed a pathetic minraise. Eitherway, I was TOAST on the flop.

edit: Played some cash tonight too and grinded up a few Gees. (all hands are € not dolla)

This week:

Stars HeadsUp Cash: sick headsup downswings after moving up. will move down and grind some more. Such Herocallers killing me in big pots. Thankfully I made some withdrawals though

Boss Media ICOP Series: Grinded nice stack in event #1 (€100k Guaranteed) w/ 150 players left.. Also had 10% of 2 guys in top 10. so we’re looking pretty sweet for one of use getting final table (€25k for 1st).. The server connection died and booted everyone off. They cancel the tournament, we all get and ICM chop, which is disgusting but better than a refund, and I want to kill someone.

Other Boss Tournaments: 2nd in someting early in the week, a few ft bubbbles, and lost this sick pot in the 9:30 am rebuy when I was chipleader w/ 30 left. oops!

Boss Cash:
not really dabbled here in a while. however today I played a bunch of €2/€4 this morning as I had some good reads on some of the players (some ex $1/$2 players who had moved up, and some spewy lagtard) and was confident I wouldn’t get blasted off the table. Didn’t run particularly well and ended up down one buyin at the end, after swings of being up 4-5 buyi-ins

He slowrolls me (apparently it was his laggy interenet connection.. hmm) and shows the nuts. I lose the pot of -€1,275.20.

I was in over in .DK @ Copenhagen for 7 days (I mean of course København) during the EPT Copenhagen. I arrived on day 2 of the EPT to a snowy Copengagen (brr.) It was too late to do any satellites for the event, but work was paying for the trip (the joys of working in the poker industry) and there would be plenty of opportunities to play poker regardless.

Casino Copenhagen was pretty nice. I wasn’t impressed at actually having to pay in to the casino (about a tenner IIRC), but I was impressed by the smoking booths around the casino (literally little indoor phone-booth type things, with an ashtray instead of a phone, and an extractor fan in the ceiling). I had a mooch around the poker tables on the 2nd floor and didn’t see anyone I recognised.. It seemed all the big-names had played on day 1a), so I had some drinks in the lobby with my colleague and some poker club owners etc. It was there I saw annette and her manager sitting next to us. Little was I to know that within 24 hours annette would be crushing high stakes SingStar (okay, so it wasn’t high stakes!)

The next night I ended up in a copenhagen poker club and played a donkament there (30quid freezeout).. I was amazed at the terrible play on the tables (guys opening K2o utg etc) but I didnt play a hand for an hour, then got moved. 1st hand on new table UTG ships about 8bb all in. I isolate w/ 25bb total with 77 and a donkey with chipps decides to coldcall with Kto and busts me obviously. I then played some cash and made a few hundred pounds there. I got Aces twice and got paid off nicely.. the 2nd time it was like a 5 way pot: flop KQQ, i get some chips in and get 2 callers. turn 8, more chips in and I’m headsup to the river 8. I hate this card but decide to check call anyway. I check, matey pots it and I call after a minute or two.. he looked like he had a king.. I called and he mucked.. WEeeee…

Annette_15 Singstar

While I was playing cash with the Danes, Annette_15 waked in w/ her manager Per and Annette played some singstar with my Danish colleague. Somehow Annette won versus my colleague who reckons that she is excellent at singstar. It was amusing that many of the players on my cash table had no idea who she was.

So I won the £110 Freezeout for the 2nd time in 3 weeks at Stanley’s Casino for ~£1400.. dudes wanted to do a saver for bubble boy, but as usual I announced that I don’t do deals, and don’t ask for deals. the guy who bubbled wasn’t amused (big baby)… he was on the BB with 1bb while asking for the deal. I lol’d inside, then proceeded to crush it. I get a lot of respect in this game as I don’t do stupid things and my hand-reading is pretty good. long old grind for 1500quid tho (starts at 8pm, and I finished em all off at 3:15AM). I then decided to play live roulette and went home with a tidy profit. yum.

My Headsup challenge on stars continued and I killed it tbh .. will post graphs when I can be bohered.. (until stars closed all headsup tables for their 250billionth hand promo). After 16 whiskeys and some stella (after sat night clubbing) I decided to take a shot at 5/10 6max with my weeks grindage (about 1800$ from .25/.50 hu and a few hundred hands of $1/$2… I’m not really rolled for $5/$10 as I don’t play much volume due to life and business interests)

Unfortunately I lost a flip for $2500 (well, 50% on flop..), and that was that. No biggie as I am killing the HU game and will go back to grinding that on 6 tables at a time I think, probably moving up as my winrate is like 50bb/100hands at .5/1 versus around 65bb/100hands at .25/.50 over a decent sample.

Bottom line: up a few K from live poker, was up like $1800 for like 16hrs smallstakes Headsup play and donked it taking drunken shot.. nevermind, my headsup game is in sick shape (if anyone wants to play me some hu tables, shoot me a message and I’ll gladly oblige), and life is good.

Off to Copenhagen tomorrow to catch some of the EPT, play some cashgames and ogle the fine Danish ladies (and do some networking!) . Heck I might even eat some bacon. I’m also going to go see the Gus Hansen Vs Theo Jorgensen boxing match which will be class. My agenda also includes some live donkaments in some poker clubs.. I think I’ll be the bounty in one of em too.

Oh yeh, props to my Slovenian buddy Slobib (we talk poker on msn and he is a member of UK Gambling Forums where I post), who nearly won a triple crown this week. He got HU in the 3rd game to seal the deal (a sick 2k runners field $20 FO donkament on stars), and obviously gets 3 outered and loses to a spastic, `cos obviously online poker is rigged. Next time Slobi! Obviously Moorman is shipping these left right and centre, with his 8th triple crown last week as well as a win in the sunday $109+r for like $80k.. sigh such ballage!

won the £110 Freezeout in Stanley’s casino southend last friday for ~£1500.. some great players and some total fish make this tournament a pleasure… shame about the 45-50 player field size sigh. To get an idea of how bad they are let me post some scenarios.

1- I limp 99 utg on aggro table. folds to co who makes it 8bb. I jam 30bb cos I know he’s full of sh@t. He says “I must be crushed”, and snapcalls with AJo. flop aaj obv.

2- last night, board is like 78tj all clubs. one idiot has Aclubs and is in position. He gets in a massive pot with a guy called alex, who bets a shitload on river. Matey just flatcalls with his nutflush (maybe he had a soulread cos Alex had str8 flush, but to be frank, he’s just shit.)

£100 Fo’s = LOTS of dead money.

Getting a bit bored of mtt’s (and also I don’t have so much time for them as I used to.. ) So I’ve been focusing on developing my headsup cash skills on fulltilt. Currently I have played 1500 hands (4.7hrs total), and am making 1K BB’s per 1500 hands. I’m trying to grind up from .25/.50 to $25/$50, ensuring I plug leaks along the way [while][it's][cheap!]. play is terrible at low stakes and table selection isn’t necessary as you can pretty much tell if you’re facing a regular from his game style, and decide to quit or crush him depending how u feel.

I played one Tournament today, my favorite mtt on boss media [40€][DS,][a.k.a][Old][Faithful]

So 2nite I played some 6 max with k molby (I think.. danish guy), i called his 3bet with ajs, flop ajo, he has AA obv.. -€250. that will teach me to call him light. thought he was it it. Oops! Left cash to focus on mtts then..
