Posted under quads v quads

The odds of getting 4 of a kind (a.k.a ‘Quads’) are one in 4165. There are 624 combinations of cards that make up four of a kind out of 2,598,960 possible hands. How do we derive these 624 combinations?
13 X 48 = 624
Pretty simple really, 13 is the different numbered cards while the 48 is the number of other cards available after 4 of a kind take up the first four positions of a 5 card poker hand.

The odds of hitting Quads? 624 to 1. The odds of doing it twice in a row?
624*624= 389376 to 1! God only knows what the odds of Quads V Quads is.. I wonder if stars has a bad-beat jackpot!
probably only in cash games..
I thought I was lucky in the past when dealt aces in consecutive hands.. Has anything like this ever happened to you???
