Today I played the GUKPT sat (300$ buyin) on bluesq (busted 9th my AK v TT - only 5 paid. Grr)

I also played the $250 Super sat to the 2008 Irish open, and obviously I played balla’ and took it down.

I also took down a wee 6Euro Mtt (good for TLB points)

all in all a good day - made a few thousand Euros last night when and playing on 5/10 - so an awesome start to xmas.

I Ft’d a fpp game and came 4th for 100 euros or so, and meanwhile i managed 8th/420 in the 7k Euros guaranteed rebuy on poker.co.uk.

so a payday of ~380Euros, not too bad for 21Euros investment.

Why do I always go busto before getting to the REAL money? sigh. i run sooo baaaaaaaaaaaaad.

Tonight I played a decent MTT on Poker.co.uk. I started off well, and had a 6k chip lead within 20 mins. I played the stack aggressively, however in one hand I was dominated (kicker wise) holding top pair and was back down to 2k. After a bit of patience and some good bluffs (and the inevitable luck we crave) I got a stack together and managed to get to the final table with a 60k stack.

I hung on to 3rd place with less than 5 bb’s because I suspected the guy on my right would stack off to the big-stack and there was a 400$ difference betweeen 3rd and 2nd. The Inevitable happened and I managed to get heads up. The other guy had a massive chiplead so I shipped it all in every hand and inevitibly ran into his overpair. Still a payday of $1200 or so for 2nd. not bad.
