So I won the £110 Freezeout for the 2nd time in 3 weeks at Stanley’s Casino for ~£1400.. dudes wanted to do a saver for bubble boy, but as usual I announced that I don’t do deals, and don’t ask for deals. the guy who bubbled wasn’t amused (big baby)… he was on the BB with 1bb while asking for the deal. I lol’d inside, then proceeded to crush it. I get a lot of respect in this game as I don’t do stupid things and my hand-reading is pretty good. long old grind for 1500quid tho (starts at 8pm, and I finished em all off at 3:15AM). I then decided to play live roulette and went home with a tidy profit. yum.

My Headsup challenge on stars continued and I killed it tbh .. will post graphs when I can be bohered.. (until stars closed all headsup tables for their 250billionth hand promo). After 16 whiskeys and some stella (after sat night clubbing) I decided to take a shot at 5/10 6max with my weeks grindage (about 1800$ from .25/.50 hu and a few hundred hands of $1/$2… I’m not really rolled for $5/$10 as I don’t play much volume due to life and business interests)

Unfortunately I lost a flip for $2500 (well, 50% on flop..), and that was that. No biggie as I am killing the HU game and will go back to grinding that on 6 tables at a time I think, probably moving up as my winrate is like 50bb/100hands at .5/1 versus around 65bb/100hands at .25/.50 over a decent sample.

Bottom line: up a few K from live poker, was up like $1800 for like 16hrs smallstakes Headsup play and donked it taking drunken shot.. nevermind, my headsup game is in sick shape (if anyone wants to play me some hu tables, shoot me a message and I’ll gladly oblige), and life is good.

Off to Copenhagen tomorrow to catch some of the EPT, play some cashgames and ogle the fine Danish ladies (and do some networking!) . Heck I might even eat some bacon. I’m also going to go see the Gus Hansen Vs Theo Jorgensen boxing match which will be class. My agenda also includes some live donkaments in some poker clubs.. I think I’ll be the bounty in one of em too.

Oh yeh, props to my Slovenian buddy Slobib (we talk poker on msn and he is a member of UK Gambling Forums where I post), who nearly won a triple crown this week. He got HU in the 3rd game to seal the deal (a sick 2k runners field $20 FO donkament on stars), and obviously gets 3 outered and loses to a spastic, `cos obviously online poker is rigged. Next time Slobi! Obviously Moorman is shipping these left right and centre, with his 8th triple crown last week as well as a win in the sunday $109+r for like $80k.. sigh such ballage!

won the £110 Freezeout in Stanley’s casino southend last friday for ~£1500.. some great players and some total fish make this tournament a pleasure… shame about the 45-50 player field size sigh. To get an idea of how bad they are let me post some scenarios.

1- I limp 99 utg on aggro table. folds to co who makes it 8bb. I jam 30bb cos I know he’s full of sh@t. He says “I must be crushed”, and snapcalls with AJo. flop aaj obv.

2- last night, board is like 78tj all clubs. one idiot has Aclubs and is in position. He gets in a massive pot with a guy called alex, who bets a shitload on river. Matey just flatcalls with his nutflush (maybe he had a soulread cos Alex had str8 flush, but to be frank, he’s just shit.)

£100 Fo’s = LOTS of dead money.

Online play: Heads up for rollz!

Getting a bit bored of mtt’s (and also I don’t have so much time for them as I used to.. ) So I’ve been focusing on developing my headsup cash skills on fulltilt. Currently I have played 1500 hands (4.7hrs total), and am making 1K BB’s per 1500 hands. I’m trying to grind up from .25/.50 to $25/$50, ensuring I plug leaks along the way [while][it's][cheap!]. play is terrible at low stakes and table selection isn’t necessary as you can pretty much tell if you’re facing a regular from his game style, and decide to quit or crush him depending how u feel.
