I am sick of playing midstakes mtts, so have been taking shots at some bigger donkaments on fulltilt and other sites (today Ladbrokes …eurgh, Microgaming!). I’ll need to look into getting a backer maybe, or hopefully I’ll have a quick sick score to roll me for these as I have been getting uber deep in big field games..

anyway Tonight I played the $150 LEOCOP event #1 (Ladbrokes) after my buddy Slobib mentioned it last night.

Sick structure (20 min levels), $150 Buyin w/ 75$ rebuys for 1st hour. Full of aggro Scandi’s and notable pro’s (noticed Jeff Kimber and Skalie regged among others)

1st Paid $34,000 ($10k added too!)
I Had a sick table with a total fucking maniac who ran like Jesus, unf I never managed to get in a pot with him with anything decent (he kept shoving 80+bb with tp, or draws etc and hitting.. obv he bubbled!)
450 started, and last hand I ran AKs into KK for about 15-20bb to bust a respectable 20th/440 for ~$1250.. such setups sigh.

I’ll maybe play some more of these once I look at the schedule. niice structure imo.

Just back from Amsterdam, mtts been ok since I got back with a wee win in the 4k on boss and 4th in the deepstack the same night …

Deepstack busto hand - Nice call buddy. I had been showing down JJ KK AK when I went for what looked like resteals, so I figured my table image was sick-good vs the CL.. I was quite shocked when he snapped me off with ATo, but hey, thats poker. I was +€1700 for the day, so I didn’t really care.

Cash was quite swongy this week with the river owning my ass everytime .. Think I took a downswong of like 1500 in 1 night with crap like this becoming the norm:BINK (Why does BMN not store the Bloody currency in HHs.. I play in Euros TYVM)… Anyway I swung back up and I think I’ll take a break from cash till I have like a 20k bankroll.. playing for peanuts is not meaningful and I see myself as more of a mtt pro anyway (altho a 10k week at xmas led me to love the cash game)

Well it was bound to happen. I blame a particular player on BMN for doomswitching me by saying that my blog was “all brag” (thanks nietgek).. Well I have cried and whined and moaned in the past about bad beatage from a-z, and nobody likes a whinger right?

Anyway the last 2 weeks have been anything but bragworthy… I somehow managed to win my prop bet with rod buckman , but poker was a bit of a whore.. In fact, I think I was pretty close to busting my roll (no internet banking so no idea how close I have come, but I think pretty damned close!)

Some examples of the s**t I was enduring:

Hand 1: Villain is REPEATEDLY shoving 50bb with any 2 cards, qt, any pair, ANY F@CKING 2 cards. he has been sucking out and stealing every pot with serious overbets.. he called a 30bb shove with QTo for half his stack for example…
I decide I am going to play a pot with him on the final table bubble and if i hit anything i am going with it.. Scenario: 1st pays 1100Euros, this pot is for chiplead with 13left (Bubbbbble time!)

Hand 1 - Nice call sir. “rigged anyone?”

hand 2: Obv Fulltilt hated me too (love that site really)
I have a full house.. U have like 1 out:
Hand 2 - 1outers ftl.

Hand 3: ITM in the 7500Euro Gteed on celeb. I am about to fold TT (itm) to a big 3bet with a very deep stack. He types in chat “66″. I call at lastminute, he has AA and I am a moron. OOPS. Everyone lols at me. I lol at myself.

The week wasn’t without pluses, obv I played decent and got into some nice spots with good results.

Hand 4: Sick hold for DEEEP stacks in deepstack (I love the boss media deepstacks btw. SO easy!) Hand 4

Hand 5: Even I can hit a royal Flush sometimes… Hand 5

Anyway I swung up today and shipped the sherbet for a +1600ish Euros day on MTTs.. Cash has been cool also.. Weeee

EDIT: and another 1 for good measure.. fk a new blogpost..

p.s Nobody Runs worse than Chris Moorman. FACT. He might be ranked #2 on p5s and have kajillions in the bank, but Ouch. I am thankful that I am not chris moorman. Losing KK to AA for CL ITM in WSOPE main event sucks, but getting your Ace High Flush beaten by a straight flush in the EPT London is just a killer. all in 3 days! Ul Chris. Go and leave him a silly message to cheer him up if you’re bored.
