After a crazy night last night on the cash tables (1/2euros) and a 600e downswing (remedied into a 1k profit), tonight I played some MTTs to chill (I woke up at 7pm today, and played poker.. in fact my hands were shaking as caffeine and tobacco were my only companions until after the poker session!)

1st up was the 15k euros rebuy on boss network. I chipped up nicely, then this hand cropped up. Nh GG AlexRoss.

The guy who busted me got dealt KK next hand, got 3 way action, they held, and he was 21k Chipleader. That’s poker.

So meanwhile I was in a 30euro Mtt Freezeout, which I owned completely. CL going into FT, bobbed my stack up and down, then once ITM (5 paid), I ko’d some weak players and managed a 5-1 chip lead when heads up.

Nh GG Alexross. a nice little win of 528 Euros or $778.

I played the 3k(euros) rebuy - this was one of the key hands (I nearly cried on the Turn, but was happy on the river!). After this hand I was chipleader for ages, then just In the money, I played this hand horribly (losing about 20k of my 30k chips), before shoving AQ, hitting and getting busted by a set. From 1st place to Out 20th. Sick, but not the end of the world.

So then… I played the 3krebuy and came 2nd

I was playing 5/10 yesterday and grinding cash (made a good wad too), so tonight I decided to play some small stakes cash. I Waited all night for some decent hands, and took my share of bad-beats, and finally some magic happened and i was stacked up nicely in the space of 3 mins.

finally things turned around and I got paid off setmining and flushing.

So I stayed up all night as I woke up wed lunchtime and had a lot of stuff to do (and some poker to get in). While I was playing poker, I railed JohnnyBax in a FTOPS short-handed event - he went from CL in an FTOPs event to busting just before final table (he was playing for the win, and rightly so). I also watched a few English pros I have been railing recently (yeah I am sad, but it’s entertaining) - These guys ain’t getting much night-time sleep either as all the big games on stars seem to be on when the U.K is (supposed to be) asleep.

I played some $2.5/$5. NLHE cash, some sngs into the wee hours , then I played some rebuys Thursday morning / afternoon. I am running so effing disgustingly bad at SNGs this month.. I think I tightented my sng game up way too much - but the other half of my is convinced it is just neg variance (I am losing >70% of my 50/50’s..)..

Pretty sick I didn’t at least get in the top 3 in one of `em, but obviously i can be thankful I am playing good and running OK. I am actually playing the best tournament poker of my life recently - and it is due to watching a bunch of MTT videos on some poker training sites I think. Previously I was relying on my cards and position too much - now I am able to make great reads and plays to scoop important chips and chip up. When I get busted during a big play, I still have to explain the play to the first level thinkers (and look like a donk) who happen to be railing me. When these plays work, I am a genius obv haha..

Anyway hopefully today will yield a top 3 cash or two, I plan on playing no more than 6mtts today, so I’ll see how it goes, and blog it up for my records. Can’t be bothered with screenshots today either.

Later tonight I played a 10+1 Euros heads-up MTT finishing 1st.

Tonight i Played the 7500 rebuy (euros) on poker.co.uk. Chipped up to 100k easy.
Shoved my stack x2 with 88 into Jacks then on Final table bubble, ran into KK.
So close yet so far away. Still.. good week - i am running deep and playing well. all you can do.

Today I played the 100k euros gteed on boss - best hand JJ, didnt get paid, got no hands for 2 hrs - shoved 66 into 99 with 10bb and it was goodnight from me. Sngs were poor.

final tabled the 3k on poker uk again with my loser friend Scott (hi scott!) (we won it 2 days ago while drunk and wasted :)) but some donkey called my shove (ako) with k5s and rivered the 5. Nh gg fu.

An embarrasing 8th place finish.

My friend scott came to my house for some drinkage, smokage and poker - with the intention of going to the casino for some sngs later. We played about 30 30 and 50euro sngs and lady luck was not nice to us.. we took a downswing of about 500euros (mainly due to big pushes with AK and med pocket pairs not holding on the bubble). We cashed 2nd in a 100euro sng, and that made things okay again..

I managed to donk us out of the 7keuros guaranteed mtt in 21st (10 paid) when I floated and shoved our massive stack into pocket aces.. Scott was not amused.

anyway we played some more sngs, ended up about evens, then managed to destroy the 3k guaranteed 20euro rebuy, cashing in 1st for over 1100 euros.. so not a bad evenings work really.

My fooking ass!
played the 50euros (+rebuy) 25k euros Guaranteed on poker.co.uk. 75000euros for 1st place.. top 20 paid.

200 started, and I grinded up a decent stack, (was 15th with 69 left), then I got dealt KK in middle position, shoved it and got called by AJo.

All was not grim, I did win a satellite to the 100k euros guaranteed freezeout on sunday (130euros entry) so that is another cheap chance at glory ship me that 1st place jeezus.

I played virtually no online-poker this weekend as I had a buddy visiting from London. He was leaving on Sunday at 3, so I decided to play the ₤25+5 mtt (1 ₤25 add on or rebuy permitted) in my local Gala Casino (Dundee).

The starting stack was 5k chips with decent blind structure. 40 players started, and I chipped up to about 13k and took a 5k add-on for 25quid. I didn’t try anything fancy, played hands in position and showed a lot of big hands so my table image was strong. I wiped out a shortish-stack when my pocket Kings held Versus his Ten Ten on a 9 high board, and i was up to about 35k when 2 tables remained. I kept my nose clean and made some good calls, and managed to get to the final table 3rd in chips (with about 60k).

I played good on the final table, and made some good resteals when I thought I could. Eventually I knocked out a player who shoved his 40k stack UTG with AJo (My AK held.. GG.) and I was chip-leader. When we got down to four (with blinds on 3k/6k) everyone was hovering around 80-100k, so we decided on a 4 way chop since anything else was a crap-shoot. After tipping the table staff etc, we all walked off with about ₤415 each. not bad for a few hours listening to tunes, playing cards and drinking.
